Welcoming and helpful host, providing a cozy atmosphere.
The walk from the train station is hilly and uncomfortable, especially at night. I felt unsafe in the area when arriving late. The bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped, causing restless nights.

Welcoming atmosphere in Bridgend! 😊
Howell is such a chommie at reception, really makes you feel at home, ja! The brekkie was a total winner—proper cooked stuff! And the room was lekker comfy, I slept like a baby!
Only downside, maybe a bit noisy from the street, but that's town life for you!

The room was very clean and comfortable, but
the mattress could use some updating for better support. Howell made sure I had everything I needed, and the breakfast was a delight, especially the freshly prepared items. Convenient location with ample parking, making my stay quite enjoyable overall.

pleasant stay but could use some updates
The host was genuinely friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout my short visit. The breakfast was a lovely treat, tailored to my tastes, with locally sourced ingredients enhancing the experience. I also appreciated the cozy feel of the Budget Single Room, making it easy to relax after a long day of traveling.
The facilities felt a bit dated compared to other options I've encountered.

It was just a fitting option for a weekend breather in Bridgend with good price value. The breakfast was really tasty, especially the fresh poached eggs that made my mornings enjoyable. If you need parking, there's plenty available both at the front and the rear.

The breakfast was a standout feature, offering a fantastic full Welsh breakfast with perfectly poached eggs. The owner was exceptionally welcoming, making the atmosphere feel homey and relaxed. Accessibility in the room was well considered, with handrails and a wet room. the lack of modern amenities and slightly dated decor might not be to everyone's taste, and some could find the noise from nearby traffic a minor inconvenience.
